One thing we never run out of on the farm is meat. I’m pretty sure my husband would wither away if we did, and the girls and I would be right behind him. Ironically, my parents just got back from an incredible trip to Israel learning about the history and enjoying walking some of the same paths that Jesus did, and the one comment my dad made over and over about the food was, “They don’t eat real meat!” In other words, there was a lot of fish, and not a bit of beef, pork, or deer. Talk about culture shock for a country farm boy.
